I remember being a little girl attending services there for distant relatives long before I ever understood what it meant to have to say goodbye to the people closest to me. When the time came to bury my grandparents, Gilbert made an incredibly difficult experience feel manageable. He guided us with kindness, patience, and compassion, and everything ran smoothly during one of the hardest moments of our lives. Now, with the passing of my father, both Gilbert and Diana have once again shown our family so much care and grace. They have made this heartbreaking process as painless and comforting as possible, and for that I will always be grateful. I recently told Gilbert how impressed I have always been with their customer service, and I’ll never forget his response: “It’s not customer service — it’s family.” That perfectly describes Mission Funeral Home.
